Tru Flite 37mm Super Long Range

Tru Flite 37mm Super Long Range Gas/Flare Gun was built at the Lake Erie Chemical Company (Cleveland, Ohio U.S.A.) in the 1930s-1940s. It was designed for launching 37mm CS gas or Smoke grenades during police standoffs. Distress and illumination flares were also sold for this launcher. The thick solid steel receiver and barrel are able to withstand ‘hot’ loads enabling the launcher to propel grenades over longer distances than was usual for it’s day. Hardwood stock with rubber shoulder pad and front and rear sites.. The reddish color of the receiver is standard factory finish. Some police departments spray painted their lower receivers black and many examples in collections and museums have black painted lowers (non original). This launcher is Considered a
non-gun by the ATF. Excellent condition (see pictures) from a private collection.

These launchers were manufactured by the Smith and Wesson Chemical Company, Rock Creek, OH. in the 60’s and 70’s. Used by Law Enforcement Officers and Prison Systems they can launch fl
ares, smoke, tear gas bean bag and other 37mm rounds. The ATF does not classify these as “destructive devices” so no license is required. Overall very good condition, shows wear to the finish from handling & storage. (please review pictures for condition)

M8 37mm Flare Gun with Holster

Here is an interesting piece of WWII history. pistol and holster. Pistol was manufactured by the Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Company, hence the stamped logo of “EVCC”.
The 1942 date was obscured sometime in the past. Smooth bore, 37mm. Action works fine. Opens and closes as it should. Holster made in Canada and obviously not US issue. All parts are guaranteed Original, authentic and fully functional.

Heym 26.5mm Flare Gun

F.W. Heym, West German flare pistol. 26.5mm
This is the third series in the Heym flare pistols, produced in the mid 1950s. The third series is noted for having both a reinforced breech, like the second series, and adding a reinforced front barrel pivot in the frame. East German LP 1 Flare Pistol

This product of the cold war was made in the ancient German gun making region of Shul and is in keeping with the design and workmanship quality it’s famous for (note that the screws are even indexed). On the right frame is 1001 which is the code for the Ernst-Thälmann-Werke, Suhl, Thüringen and the left side of it and the barrel bear various proofs and acceptance marks as well as a serial number. It will chamber standard 26.5mm flares and is of alloy construction weighing in at onepound, thirteen ounces. It’s in good condition with some minor finish loss.

HK Rak Pist 78

This is a complete 26.5mm Flare Pistol Set that centers around a HK Rak Pist 78 which is simply a P2A1 made by HK for the Swiss miltary. It’s identical to the P2A1 in every aspect except for the model designation stamping on the frame but it is marked HK as you can see in the pictures. The package includes an original and very useful Swiss contract shoulder carried holster/storage bag that has room for the flare pistol, cleaning brush, flare cartridges and a lot of other stuff. All the accessories are in like new condition.

Yugoslavian M57 26.5MM Flare Pistol

Here’s a somewhat unusual 26.5mm flare pistol that was produced in Yugoslavia for military use and it’s designated the M57. This pistol is quite robust with all steel construction. It was built to last a lifetime unlike today’s more modern versions that use plastics extensively.
