This particular flare gun is the GECO Flare Gun which is commonly referred to as simply the German Flare Gun by most collectors.  This would be a 1960 era flare gun, with the manufacturing materials and methods taking you back to the era where people took pride in complicated designs.  This flare gun has so many parts that are highly refined that it will remind you of a classic Mercedes.

The GECO Flare Pistol has come with both wooden and plastic grips, so collectors will want examples of both.  We have sold far more blued GECO Signal Pistols than parkerized, so look for parkerized guns if you want a rarer pistol for your collection.

The GECO Flare Gun is by far our best-selling flare gun of all time.

Recently discovered a small lot of original German Geco LP2 flare gun kits have been made available. Each 1960s vintage kit contains one Geco LP2 flare pistol in very good condition, one canvas carry case (authentic not a reproduction) some of the bottom closure snaps are broken, easily fixed…

The German Geco LP2 flare pistol is extremely sought after by collectors and is the highest quality military issue flare pistol produced. All parts of the flare pistol are made of steel except for the two brown Bakelite grips. Each flare pistol is in very good to condition and is fully operational.

Due to the nature of military surplus, some slight variances in color or material of the holsters or flare cases are possible. Each flare pistol has been inspected for completeness of assembly. Before firing any projectiles, we suggest taking flare pistol to a gunsmith for inspection. For liability reasons, no returns will be taken on these collectable flare pistol kits.
